Nottingham Trent University (NTU), one of the largest universities in the UK, has built up its systems over the past 30 years resulting in a complex web of data locations, applications, and servers. The Student Transformation Program (SDT) was initiated to address this challenge by creating a unified view of student data for its 40k students and 6k colleagues. This session discusses the development of "My Student Record," a personalized view of the student journey in real-time, using Ellucian Experience to integrate various data sources. The program aimed to make data more accessible to colleagues, enhance services for students, and give students more control over their data. The session also explores the inclusive approach taken to ensure the program's value and the journey from user-centric design to the successful implementation of new technology, providing NTU with a comprehensive view of each student.
