Using UCLA Library’s Writing Instruction and Research Education (WI+RE) team as a case study, this session explores sustainable instructional design—a resource-aware ethos and approach that maximizes the value of pre-existing learning resources by embedding sustainability and accessibility into every phase of content development and management. Attendees will leave with a step-by-step framework to integrate sustainability into their own instructional design practices, saving time and effort while empowering learners as co-designers.
