In this session, we highlight innovative approaches to adult learning from two distinct institutions—Indiana University, a large public university, and the University of St. Thomas, a private institution with 9,000-plus students. Despite differences in scale and structure, both share a commitment to relevance, innovation, and lifelong learning. We will showcase scalable, transferable strategies that promote engagement across employee and student populations, with a focus on generative AI and digital accessibility learning. Examples include generative AI virtual events, personalized concierge-style training, campus-wide AI engagement initiatives, and digital learning badges centered on AI literacy and digital accessibility. Attendees will take away actionable ideas for fostering future-ready mindsets and skills and supporting professional growth in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape.
