In today’s dynamic higher education landscape, data and analytics are no longer optional—they’re essential for informed decision-making and institutional resilience. Recognizing this shift, the EDUCAUSE Horizon Report | Data & Analytics Edition explores key trends, technologies, and practices shaping the future of data-informed decision-making in higher ed based on insights from a panel of international experts from across the sector. This poster highlights critical developments identified in the report that are expected to influence data and analytics at institutions over the next decade, while also offering insight into how we, as an industry, can prepare for multiple future scenarios—enabling us to anticipate change and respond proactively, rather than reactively. We will focus on emerging themes from the report, as well as include an overview of the methodological process behind the Horizon Reports.
