Five Tips to Get the Most Out of Your Experience

We encourage everyone who plans to attend to register as soon as possible and no later than March 8 in order to receive necessary event communications in advance. Complimentary exhibit staff registrations must be processed by 11:59 p.m. ET on March 21. Learn more about registration and housing.

Exhibitor registration includes access to refreshment breaks in the exhibit hall and entrance to the Networking Reception on Tuesday evening. Lunch is not provided for Exhibit Booth Staff registration type. There are several local food outlets available nearby.

This is your chance to build long-lasting relationships with customers who are eager for your solutions.

Remember: most attendees are more concerned with assessing your products and solutions rather than purchasing on site. This is your opportunity to audition for their business, which is a critical touchpoint for future collaboration.

Need ideas for enticing attendees to visit your booth? Consider:

  • Crafting an interactive experience that allows them to engage with your products and services
  • Hosting your own unique prize drawings or giveaways
  • Announcing a new product or service at the event

Quickly and easily promote your participation leading up to, during, and after the event using these tips and templates that we've crafted for you.

Join us for the Networking Reception on Tuesday, March 26, to interact with attendees over food and drink. Be sure to craft a plan ahead of time to get the most out of the gathering. (One drink ticket is included.)

Social Media Tips

  • Start your promotion ASAP. This helps build interest early, leading to greater exposure for you by the time of the event.

  • Include the official hashtag—#NERCOMP24—in your posts to be part of the conversation.

  • Post to all of your organization's channels one hour before the event begins each day to generate excitement.

  • Provide your social media handles in your presentation materials or other collateral so attendees can connect with you after the event. Check your channels periodically to help answer questions and participate in discussions.

  • Go multimedia. Use presentation slides, pictures, and video, especially during the event. The more interesting you can make your posts—both content-wise and visually—the more effective they will be.

  • Have a conversation. Use a natural voice in your posts, make sure you reply to others' posts when you can, and thank attendees for participating.

Use your daily emails to let your contacts know they can find you at the event.
