Wednesday, June 09, 2021 | 12:00PM–12:45PM ET
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Live Session
Phishing persists as a threat to information security, in no small part due to its effectiveness, even against us! As IT professionals we are called upon to educate and assist the users who are potential victims, but we make attractive targets ourselves. In this talk, members of UNC Chapel Hill's Information Security Office will discuss a simulated phishing campaign specifically targeting information technology professionals in their community, including what topics or techniques were more or less effective against our colleagues in order to help others enhance their outreach efforts to better serve those clients who are also our peers.
