CWRU and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation implemented a fully security-focused IT environment to support the first 2020 presidential debate in a mere six weeks*. It was a full-out sprint, but relied on years of past relationships and planning, plus the benefit of being in the right place at the right time. This is a rare event, of course, but it demonstrates how security program planning can come together to help organizations pass the test. *No analysts were harmed in the making of this event.
