Climbing mountains of data is pushing the deployment of security information event management (SIEM) systems and centralized logging. Higher education has reacted and deployed SIEMs and centralized logging across many campuses. The challenges for smaller campuses are unique and provide some insight into usage across the community. We will talk about problem solving, deployments, options, integrations, apps, and future plans for smaller campuses.
