Large-Scale Learning Analytics Research in LMS Course Design

Learning analytics has often focused on identifying at-risk students within a course. But what if we could prevent those students from getting into risk at all? This presentation will describe research results (one across a campus, one across 750 campuses) that hold striking implications for effective LMS course design.
