Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
Today's students are the most connected in history. As part of a large-scale multinational study, students were asked to define the Internet in a sentence and identify its threats in their own words. This amusing nonscientific portion of a scientific study highlights how students truly feel about the Internet and its threats.

Outcomes: Learn how students in two cultures define the Internet, its usefulness, and its threats * Understand why students and individuals are apathetic about Internet security * Identify ways to help students and users better understand the technology they use
