Competency-Based Education: A Course Development Model

The instructional design team at WKU partnered with academic faculty and administrators to develop a self-paced, nonsemester-based, competency-based education program. This presentation will discuss faculty development, course design decisions, technology considerations, and student support. We will describe our plan as well as the challenges and outcomes of this innovative program.
