Pioneers in Digital Courseware: What We've Learned from Early Adopters

We will present the results of an analysis of 58 cases of pioneers in digital courseware across the country, including a classification of relevant technologies, distinctions of faculty and institutional-led initiatives, and noted barriers of underrepresented students.

Outcomes: Differentiate the evolving definition of digital courseware into three discrete categories * Characterize the differences between successful digital learning initiatives led by faculty innovators and those implemented at a broader institutional level * Identify barriers that emerged from the research specific to underrepresented students across institution types
