Thursday, November 02, 2017 | 8:00AM–8:30AM ET | Meeting Room 204A, 200 Level
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Interactive Presentation
UMBC has rethought how we handle departmental IT support within student affairs. We have moved many of the routine IT support services over to central IT, enabling the departmental staff to dive deeper into the processes of their department and use technology to innovate rather than just provide support services.

Outcomes: Learn how these collaborations have led to technological innovations within student affairs * Understand how to build partnerships between central IT and other campus segments without needing policies * Learn methods used to help foster change through collaboration with central IT and partner groups
