Colleges and universities work to design information systems that accurately reflect identities. Increasingly members of our communities identify as transgender and/or gender-nonconforming and seek flexibility in identifying preferred names and pronouns. Come learn about the work of an EDUCAUSE task force charged to identify best practices in this area.

Outcomes: Learn about policy and implementation issues required to incorporate preferred names and pronouns in information systems * Identify colleges and universities that are models in this domain * Leave with a set of resources designed to facilitate work at your campus
