Every Canvas institution can download Instructure Canvas Data—a big data export of everything in its Canvas instance. Eastern Michigan University has created an open-source application—CanvasDataViewer—that you can use to download and host your gigabytes of Canvas Data on SQL Server or MySQL locally or in the cloud.
