Adaptive Learning: Balancing Flexible and Structured Elements

Adaptive learning provides personalized pathways through content, allowing for repeated learning and assessment attempts leading to mastery. A challenge to bringing it to scale is that the focus of much adaptive content is knowledge-based and procedural. Strategies also need to include areas that integrate dialogic and Socratic seminar methods.
