UBC and AWS announced the launch of a Cloud Innovation Centre (CIC), the first of its kind in Canada, last July. Branded as the UBC Community Health and Wellbeing CIC and powered by AWS, the centre supports student teams tackling real-world issues using cloud technology tools.
