Improving Access and Universal Design for Learning

We will offer insights on the technology experiences of students with disabilities, gleaned from data from nearly 2,000 open-ended responses, and share examples of how the integration of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles can expand academic access for all students to account for learner variability, choice, and agency.



Outcomes:

Learn about the technologies that students with disabilities say are most important for their academic success * Develop an understanding of the technology barriers students with disabilities face in their courses * Get recommendations on how to incorporate principles of Universal Design for Learning to increase access for all learners
