The Implications of Data Science and ML on Campus Infrastructure

Teaching classes across disciplines dealing with data science, machine learning, and big data can put a strain on existing campus infrastructures. UMBC has been leveraging infrastructure staff to work directly with faculty and investing in new infrastructure models and techniques to support this new type of learning.
