UCI COMPASS provides a wide variety of data to academic advisors, faculty, and administrators. We will present the types of data UCI makes available, showcase the diverse lenses through which this data can be viewed, and discuss ways the data is an effective tool for both advisors and instructors to support student success across the institution.

Outcomes: Learn about the challenges with using grades data, especially when comparing grading across classes and instructors * Brainstorm innovative ways that grades can be linked with institutional data to aid both advising and teaching * See how advisors, faculty, and administrators have made effective use of data to inform practices in advising and teaching
