Thursday, October 27, 2016 | 12:30PM–1:30PM | Exhibit Hall B/C, Level One
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
Indiana University identified a need for scalable analysis of online course quality at lower-level metrics (learning outcomes alignment, accessibility, course material variety) to empower faculty members for self-analysis, allowing instructional designers to provide more sophisticated support and innovation. IU partnered with Intellus Learning to leverage LMS information on course structure and alignment to generate actionable information for course improvement.

Outcomes: Explore the considerations in implementing a new approach to course quality metrics *Identify steps in the process of engaging with faculty, providing validation, and operationalizing new approaches *Discuss the impacts of working with a technology partner to solve problems at scale
