Senior Directors Seminar

Conference attendees

The Senior Directors Seminar is an integrated professional development experience for individuals serving in leadership roles, but not at CIO or CISO level, and who are within higher education IT and who are attending the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference. Separate registration and fees are required. The program provides over eight hours of training, peer networking, and mentoring offered by highly experienced leaders.

You'll focus on:

High-level, campus-wide questions
Important leadership issues
Intensive networking with peers and experienced senior leaders

Schedule

This four-day experience spans the duration of the annual conference and includes a mentoring session and the following activities:

Tuesday, October 25 | 12:30pm – 4:00 pm (required half-day preconference seminar)
Wednesday, October 26 | 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm (roundtable lunch)
Thursday, October 27 | 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm (networking reception)
Friday, October 28 | 7:30 am – 9:00 am (roundtable breakfast)

Hawkins Leadership Roundtable

HLR convenes new CIOs and those actively seeking a CIO role to focus on high-level IT questions, discuss important IT leadership issues, and engage in intensive networking with peers and experienced CIOs.

Register to Participate

Participation is limited to 56 senior leaders who work at higher education institutions and meet the bulleted criteria below. Registration for both the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference in Anaheim and SDS are required.

Who Should Attend?

Higher education senior leaders (serving between the roles of manager and CIO/CISO)
Individuals with five or more years of experience in managing both staff and projects
Individuals actively seeking a senior director level role
