Creating the Next-Gen Network of Learning Tools with Berkeley, UCLA, and the UC as App-Sharing Pioneers

Wednesday, October 26, 2016 | 1:30PM–2:30PM | Exhibit Hall B/C, Level One
Session Type: Poster Session
Delivery Format: Poster Session
Universities need to be able to share apps, learning tools, data, and digital asset collections across their campus environments. At the UC we think apps should be sharable across a "network" of independent resource "creation hubs" with their own "app stores" that speak a standardized app sharing language from IMS Global called CASA (Community App Sharing Architecture).

Outcomes: Understand what CASA does and why it's unique *Gain improved app discovery mechanisms and curation capabilities *Dialogue with others about the significance of CASA
