Hydra is both an open-source technical framework for building digital repository systems and a growing community of partners engaged in supporting the framework and creating front-end digital repository and content management applications. We will provide an overview of Hydra, demonstrate Hydra-based applications, and discuss integration with library and IT environments.


Outcomes: Learn about the goals and basic structure of the Hydra digital repository community and development framework *Understand how institutions are integrating Hydra-based solutions into their larger IT and library services infrastructure *Learn how to get involved with the Hydra community
