When a course is well designed but pass rates aren't where you want them to be, the problem isn't with the content but with the student experience. This session will give you command of insightful tools from design thinking to uncover the blind spots, assumptions, and mixed messages preventing students from succeeding.


Outcomes: Apply an established framework for considering student experience to the design of any course *Advocate for course design strategies that address student experience in addition to basic content *Guide other faculty members through productive idea generation for anticipated student needs
