Mobile technology for learning and teaching has become an essential element of higher education prompted by the expansion of K –12 tablet adoption. Fresno State's innovative tablet program, DISCOVERe, will provide the context for a discussion and illustration of mobile technology's use and impact on learning outcomes in a university environment.
