EDUCAUSE Supports Emerging Edtech

EDUCAUSE is committed to supporting the emerging edtech community with unique ways to get exposure with the higher education community. As part of our Start-Up Alley (SUA) program, each year we offer emerging edtech companies the opportunity to highlight their service or solution at our Annual Conference.

Start-Up Alley is the perfect place to access influencers, develop relationships, receive targeted feedback, and build awareness for your emerging company with potential customers. If you have a solution that addresses the core issues in higher education (access, student success, retention, cost, etc.), our Start-Up Alley program provides a powerful way for you to engage with higher education decision makers.

New this year—Start-Up Alley Graduates! Previous Start-Up Alley participants are invited back to EDUCAUSE 2017 to engage more deeply with conference participants through Start-Up Alley Graduates. You will receive the benefits below plus a larger, more enhanced booth space. To participate in this experience, previous Start-Up Alley participants can email our Corporate Team.

What's All the Hype?

"EDUCAUSE was a great experience for ilos. We met with hundreds of potential customers over a two-day period, secured two deals on-site, and even took first place in the Under the Ed Radar Pitch Competition. All in all, if you are in edtech looking to meet real customers or get feedback on your product, EDUCAUSE is the place to be.

I've been to several higher ed conferences, but none of them come close to the scale EDUCAUSE has to offer."
- Sean Higgins, Founder, ilos Videos

"This is a must event to participate in for any edtech start-up serious about being successful with higher education. While all start-ups need to conserve cash, EDUCAUSE is well worth the investment. You'll get tremendous exposure and leave with a large number of leads. CTOs/CIOs will come to Start-up Alley and engage you."
- Tim O'Connor, CEO Exemplars, Inc.

"The EDUCAUSE Annual Conference was above and beyond anything I could have expected. We made an enormous gain in terms of lead generation, networking, and pitch experience by attending Start-Up Alley. We're definitely planning on attending again for these reasons."
- Scott Hasbrouck, CEO, Ginkgotree
