This hands-on workshop is like speed dating for design thinking: you will get a very rapid tour of design thinking techniques while meeting and working with fellow workshop participants to share and creatively solve real learning design and technology problems that they face in their day-to-day work. You will interview each other, visualize learning design and technology problems, and test ideation strategies to discover innovative solutions. You will also use, share, and test existing and emerging learning technologies. In short, this workshop promises to be social, active, and authentic.

Outcomes: List and describe the main steps in design thinking *Explain how design thinking leverages specific aspects of cognition and emotion to solve problems effectively and creatively *Draft and visualize a solution to a pressing learning design/technology problem
