As visual 3D technology becomes more affordable, it becomes more prevalent at our libraries and universities, burgeoning creative applications of this technology in the classroom settings beyond simple replication. This seminar will provide hands-on experience with teaching with visual and technological multimedia. The session covers 3D scanning applications of the Augmented Reality Sandbox, Digital Contour Models from Clay, and Repurposing Physical Art Objects Into Virtual Terrains.
