Using the CWiC Framework to Improve Your Courseware Selection and Implementation

Wednesday, February 15 | 9:30AM–10:15AM | Fort Bend
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Interactive Presentation
Digital courseware has the potential to support personalized learning at scale in higher education. However, adoption can be hindered by the challenge of identifying and implementing products effectively. The Courseware in Context (CWiC) Framework was released in July 2016 to support postsecondary decision makers to effectively navigate the courseware market and make better-informed adoption and implementation decisions. This session will highlight three use cases of the CWiC Framework—initial courseware exploration, courseware procurement, and course evaluation—and will include real-time discussion with institutional leaders about how they have used the CWiC Framework to address various goals and challenges on campus related to online/blended learning.
