Virtual reality (VR) provides educators and students a compelling way to visualize and interact with content, but getting the most out of this technology requires creating something original. We will discuss workflows we have used to create original educational content for VR from a variety of sources including 360 degree photography, photogrammetry, 3D animation, motion capture, molecular modelling, GIS, and others.
