As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the landscape of higher education, institutional leaders must cultivate organizational agility to navigate rapid technological advancements and evolving stakeholder expectations. This leadership series explores the intersection of change management, agile leadership, and AI, equipping higher education professionals with the strategies needed to navigate ongoing transformation.
Drawing on change management principles and real-world case studies, participants will learn how to apply change management to support effective and ethical AI implementation while fostering institutional adaptability, resilience, and cross-functional alignment in response to rapid technological change. We’ll focus on fostering a culture of innovation, managing resistance to change, and ensuring AI adoption enhances both operational efficiency and institutional outcomes.
By the end of the leadership series, participants will be able to:
- Define organizational agility in the context of higher education and articulate its importance in the successful adoption of AI technologies.
- Apply change management frameworks to guide AI integration, ensuring alignment with institutional mission, values, and strategic objectives.
- Develop strategies to foster an AI-ready culture of adaptability, innovation, and collaboration enabling faculty, staff, and students to embrace AI-driven changes.
- Identify and address common barriers to AI adoption, including resistance to change, ethical concerns, and governance challenges.
- Implement continuous improvement mechanisms that allow AI policies and practices to evolve in response to emerging trends and institutional needs.
This leadership series supports professionals involved in AI initiatives across diverse higher education contexts by providing actionable strategies to lead responsible, sustainable, and mission-aligned AI implementation through effective change leadership.
