EDUCAUSE Executive Leaders Academy

(Separate registration is required)
The Academy is a cohort-based leadership experience for senior higher education leaders that helps participants clarify how and why they lead while strengthening the skills needed to guide institutions through complexity and change. Through coaching, reflection, and practical application, participants explore leadership values, executive presence, influence, data-informed decision-making, and enterprise-level strategy. The Academy also creates space to reimagine structures, align people and resources, and build a sustainable plan for continued leadership growth beyond the program. EDUCAUSE Leadership Series: Beyond Adoption: Leading in an AI-Enabled Institution

This leadership series helps senior leaders move beyond AI experimentation toward more sustainable, institution-wide integration. Participants will explore the leadership challenges, funding decisions, cultural shifts, workforce transformation, and organizational trade-offs that come with scaling AI in higher education. Through peer examples and practical discussion, the series will help leaders examine how AI is reshaping teams, roles, collaboration, decision-making, and expectations, while applying early lessons learned to guide strategy in their own institutional contexts. Executive Career Coaching

Executive Career Coaching sessions are complimentary, one-on-one career development meetings offered by seasoned leaders and recruiters for higher education executives or senior leaders who are interested in advancing their career. Executive Leaders Lounge

At the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference, executive and senior leaders from all types of institutions convene to learn from each other and expand their networks. Come to the Executive Leaders lounge to relax and meet with friends and colleagues in a dedicated space with light refreshments and a comfortable spot to charge devices, check email, and watch live streams of the general session presentations.
