Education technology continues to innovate on ways to help students stay connected to their instructors and coursework. As education moves online, and as more and more edtechs offer their own solutions, students can become overloaded with information from multiple sources. To help solve this problem, Amazon announced Alexa Education Skills API, which allows parents and students over the age of 13 to use their voice to access important information across multiple sources. This session will explore how edtechs including LMS, SIS, and MOOC providers like Canvas and Coursera are using Alexa as they move to enable frictionless access to student and school information—getting the right information to high school and college students at the right time in order to help them stay informed and execute towards achieving their goals.
