How can learning analytics provide a deeper understanding of student learning strategies beyond predictions of achievement? What is the impact of interventions made based on these predictions? In this presentation, we will present the results of recent collaborative projects to investigate these topics in higher education courses.
Outcomes: Participants will: 1) Better understand recent developments in learning analytics research and pilot studies 2) Be provided with practical examples that demonstrate these developments in an institutional context 3) Be able to assess potential applications of learning analytics for their institution.
