Mapping Digital Scholarly Communication Infrastructure

We will present the first comprehensive look at the infrastructure that supports digital scholarly communication, including a census of infrastructure providers and a survey of library support for this infrastructure. Gaps and redundancies in the system will be identified, and the overall cost of a robust system will be established.

Outcomes: Understand the current scholarly communications infrastructure, including gaps, redundancies, technical dependencies, and organizational health * Explore the level of funding that is being provided to the system and how much might be necessary * Understand how you and your organization can contribute to community-owned and community-governed infrastructure
