Middle managers hold a key position in developing an organization's data culture. Skilled managers introduce data thinking and integrate it into the cultural DNA of the organization. Through a case study and examples, we get some insights into developing metrics that are actionable and accountable.

Outcomes: Participants will: (1) understand the key role that middle managers play in developing a data culture, (2) apply Schein's three-layered culture theory to identify culture roadblocks, (3) create an actionable data plan to tackle the roadblocks.
