Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19, an ever-broadening array of new personalizable technologies were already available in the higher education market. Whereas finding the tricky balance between privacy, security, and progress was at the forefront, the pandemic changed the way we look at data. Community health and security were placed squarely in top priority with near-blinding speed. This panel will showcase varying perspectives and approaches to student data privacy and data use to manage campus-level responses during the pandemic and beyond.
