The Canvas Hall of Fame at Northwestern University is a student-nominated faculty recognition program that provides a case study for an IT department becoming a conduit for student and faculty connection. We will cover details about the award process (collecting student nominations, reviewing and selecting winners) and the programming (email campaigns, new workshops, and new resources) that emerged because of this process and changed instructor practices across the institution within months.
