Generative artificial intelligence systems have been rapidly gaining in popularity due to their ease of use and multitude of applications. They can create images, write code, summarize topics, and provide advice through a natural language interface. However, users of these systems need to review their outputs with a critical eye. In this discussion, we will discuss examples of biased, inaccurate, and stereotype-propagating outputs and generate ideas for leveraging Generative AI systems in a responsible manner.
