Tuesday, October 10, 2023 | 8:00AM–8:45AM CT | W186, Level 1
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
With over 68,000 students and 12,000 employees, UCF is one of the largest universities in the country. A university of this size brings a massive amount of data, which will be our topic in this session. An analysis of the university’s data and analytics landscape found that UCF, like many institutions, had numerous data silos and difficulties leveraging data for advanced analytics. As a result of this feedback, the need emerged for UCF to create a modernized centralized data and analytics ecosystem where all business users can utilize data for real data-driven insights. Come see how UCF built its cloud analytics platform, how we implemented it, and how UCF IT and the Division of Analytics and Integrated Planning (AIP) are partnering together to build a unified university-wide data warehouse that allows users to have one source of truth for reporting.
