Collaborative Analytics: Update from the AIR/EDUCAUSE/NACUBO Joint Statement on Analytics

Wednesday, October 11 | 11:15AM–12:00PM CT | W185bcd, Level 1
Session Type: Breakout Session
Delivery Format: Presentation/Panel Session
EDUCAUSE, in collaboration with the Association for Institutional Research (AIR) and the National Association for College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), received a grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop a guide to help institutions achieve the call to action issued in the Joint Statement of Analytics (changewithanalytics.com). Many institutional leaders want to build a data-informed culture, but they often aren’t sure what steps to take. Our emerging guide is designed as a collection of resources to assist with scaffolding the work that institutions need to do for data-informed decisions to be made at every level. Join us to hear from institutional business, institutional research, and IT professionals about how they are embedding analytics in their institutional cultures and how the guide can assist in this work. Session participants will be encouraged to offer feedback based on their institutions’ needs in order to inform the guide, which will be released in 2024.
