Universities, particularly those that are in the suburbs and away from major highways, face significant challenges in ensuring that their students and staff can stay connected throughout the campus. While Campus WiFi has largely solved the connectivity challenge in most buildings, there are still coverage issues outdoors as well as in those places with several obstructions. Staying connected with your friends and family has been a challenge in certain campuses due to lack of strong mobile operator signal coverage.

Private 5G networks address these challenges by enabling a more resilient, more wider coverage, and more secure wireless connectivity alternative. In this session we will explore the typical components of a private 5G network and how it addresses these challenges.
