After leveraging technology throughout the pandemic, some faculty continue to use hybrid learning to ensure continuity of learning when students are unable to attend in person. In this presentation, hybrid learning refers to when faculty synchronously teach students in person and remotely with the hope of providing equity in learning across the modality. This poster presents qualitative and quantitative data from a mixed methods research study exploring student perceptions of hybrid learning options, post-COVID. Quantitative findings focus on the impact a hybrid option had on learning and the classroom environment. Qualitative data highlights student preferences for hybrid learning. A detailed understanding of student perceptions of and preferences for hybrid learning allows higher education professionals to anticipate the needs of students and facilitate engaging academic environments.
