This session will discuss the growing importance of esports in academia and university IT staff collaboration with community school districts to create opportunities for students to develop skills like teamwork, coordination, self-confidence, and career goals. This session showcases the collaboration of the UTSA's IT department and Bold Careers program with Roadrunner Gaming, esports at UTSA, to create unique opportunities for partnership with businesses such as SixFlags, Port San Antonio, and numerous technology vendor partners. Additionally, vendor partners will share how they collaborate with university esports programs across the globe.
