Hiring effectively is difficult, harder than many realize. Most of us have little to no training, and even hiring experience can create false confidence if it has not been rigorously analyzed. In this session, we will discuss hiring best practices, including training to reduce bias, how to conduct interviews, and how to organize a successful hiring process. We will illustrate how effective hiring is the quickest way to change the culture and advance a strategic plan. Finally, the importance and primacy of hiring will be emphasized throughout, including the participation of the executive leadership in all hiring decisions.
