AWS Incident Response Tabletop Exercise for Cloud Security and Resilience

Monday, October 09, 2023 | 12:30PM–3:30PM CT | W196a, Level 1
Session Type: Meeting
Delivery Format: Meeting

The U.S. Department of Defense, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and other organizations recommend tabletop exercises as a way for organizations to improve their ability to quickly and effectively respond to adverse incidents such as ransomware attacks. In this highly participatory Amazon Web Services (AWS) session, you will learn the capabilities of cloud services that can be used to detect, respond, and recover from a cyber event. We’ll share industry use cases and walk through a simulated phishing/ransomware event.

Participants will take away actionable insights to improve their institution's incident response plan and will be able to construct a diverse, cross-institution team to effectively respond to incidents.
