Intersection of Project and Service Management: A Deep Dive into Best Practices, Tools & Resource Management (separate registration is required)
Monday, October 09 | 12:30PM–4:00PM CT | W184d, Level 1
Session Type:
Additional Fee Program
Delivery Format:
Preconference Workshop
Join leaders from both the Project Management and IT Service Management Community Groups for a half-day workshop on some of the many interconnects between Project Management and IT Service Management. Some of the items that would be focused are project-to-service transition best practices; tools and templates used for transition; workload management across projects and service delivery; and forecast verus actual FTE tracking. Our goal is to have diverse instructors from a variety of higher education institutions share on each topic the approach followed for each of the area, with example projects followed by a tabletop exercise for specific scenarios in breakout format and report out on the findings This will also be a great opportunity to network with fellow PPM and SMO professionals in higher education and get some useful templates and tips! We look forward to the in-depth discussions!
