This session provides a retrospective on a four-year research effort to evaluate Penn State’s institutional preparedness as it pertains to adopting predictive analytics to support academic advising. This session will discuss the findings from research trials, feedback we received from advisers who piloted the analytic prototype, and lessons learned in the ethical uses of institutional data to support decision-making that impacts student success.
