The immersive nature of VR makes it a compelling tool to deliver abstract content. It encourages curiosity and creativity, and the scalability and versatility of VR enables educators to replicate experiences that are difficult to create in a classroom or are financially unsustainable. VR can be a transformative tech tool. However, as with any new technology implementation, problems arise. This poster looks at recent VR pilots at a small, noncompetitive liberal arts university, highlighting our successes and failures, or what we like to call “learning opportunities.” We’ll share ideas and tips for setup and integration.
